Parrotrans is an emerging translation company based in Turkey - Gaziantep, that provides translation services for companies in many languages. The company is based in Turkey, but our network of translators and clients extends all over the world, with whom we cooperate through the Internet, e-mail, telephone or fax. Our team is equipped with a growing network of freelance translators and staff who are carefully selected and whose work is evaluated periodically.
Meet the team
Mazen Al-Balkhi
Founder and director of the company
Mazen Al-Balkhi was born and studied in Damascus. He left Syria traveling on Dubai in early 2011, and since then he has been moving between Dubai, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan and Sweden. Mazen graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Damascus University. He studied for two years at the Faculty of International Relations and Diplomacy. In 2015, Mazen joined the Swedish Institute for post-graduate studies and was able to successfully complete the Diploma in Management and Leadership. He has proven experience as a survey analyst at Acumen in Damascus for two years. After leaving Syria, he moved to work as an English teacher for two more years in a private institute. He initiated the establishment of a non-governmental organization called “Dream of Jasmine,” which devoted its efforts to helping Syrians inside and outside Syria to enroll in schools. Mazen also worked as a consultant for international non-governmental organizations in Sweden. Since 2008, Mazen has worked in the field of translation and recently established Parrotrans House for translation and interpretation services.
Yara Qabbani
Human Resources Director
Yara Kabbani holds a BA in economics from the Syrian Virtual University and holds an equivalent certificate from the Higher Institute of Business Administration from the British University of Greenwich. She worked for two years in the Technical Packaging Company as an administrative assistant. I am now working in the human resources department at Parrotrans for translation, and I feel happy in this company, as I gain great experiences through it, as it includes a professional teamwork team with diverse experiences.
Hussein Al-Balkhi
Marketing and Sales Officer
Hussein Al-Balkhi holds a business administration degree, specializing in international management, from Yarmouk Private University in Syria. She worked with a number of organizations, including Ihsan Organization for Development and Relief, as a supply officer. He holds training certificates from a number of local and international organizations, most notably the World Food Program in warehouse management and food quality. I have experience in the supply chain and warehouse management, and now I work with Parrotrans for translation and languages as a marketing and sales officer. I gained experience in this field thanks to the company's management, and I am very proud of my work with Parrotrans for being one of the first founders of this company.
Rahel Al-Balkhi
Social Media Officer
Rachel Al-Balkhi holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Damascus University. She holds a training certificate, including Microsoft Office and social communication skills, from Esrar Organization. I work for Parrotrans for translation and languages as an administrator on the social media sites. I am very happy to work with the Parrotrans team, as I have gained various experiences in this field.
